COMMENT

Given the Iran war, the market was looking for a reason to sell off. He was holding 20% cash, because sooner or later something would happen. Sentiment was too bullish. Also, during a US midterm year, the returns are soft in the summer. A pullback is healthy--we needed corrective action to put things back in line.

HOLD

The chart has a gentle uptrend since 2022, and had a breakout the past year. It could pullback slightly to $85, the 2024 high. As long as it doesn't fall below that, he'd probably hold it.

BUY

He's liked energy before the Iran war, because oil is overlooked. Since 2024, the chart shows a nice cup formation, with higher lows and higher highs. Now, it's trying to break resistance around $16 and he expects it to.

BUY

It has based, so no more lower lows and lower highs. Currently, it's still in a base, but if it breaks above $25, you're off to the races and could return to $40. Buy it through $25.

PARTIAL BUY

He's been buying this at the bottom of the range. Pays a bit of a dividend. It's trying to break out of this range at $70, and will eventually.

BUY

He likes everything international. He owns another EM ETF that's done very well. VEE's chart is in an uptrend, including a big jump in early 2025. It could consolidate and as long as it stays within old highs and lows, it's healthy.

COMMENT

He sold it during the upside, based on technicals. He's not bearish BRK. The market is waiting to see how the new CEO will do. The chart is now consolidating, neither positive not negative. It's 50/50 whether the new CEO performs well.

DON'T BUY

He wants to see confirmation that the current chart base is real. Wants to see a breakout first which could see tons of upside.

COMMENT

$6 seems to be an old resistance point and maybe new support. It has to hold $6 or it will probably fall to $5.50 and you don't want to see it fall further. But if it bounces at $6, then buy.

PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick Nov 12/25, Down 12%)

He sold it, because it broke below $47 and didn't bounce off it. He expected the previous chart patterns of ups and down to continue instead. He's watching it to possibly get back in.

PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick Nov 12/25, Up 45%)

The chart broke out. It broke out twice in 2025. Is now making higher highs and higher lows. A pullback is possible, but won't sell it. Likes it still.

PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick Nov 12/25, Up 8%)

He didn't like tech last year for good reason. So, he moved into equal weight. He likes the market, not tech.

DON'T BUY

It could be an uptrend since early 2024, but recently the chart looks weak. There's some danger. It's going down. It needs to base for a while, then rise before he would step in.

COMMENT

He might own this, not sure. Recently, he predicted it would pull back to $45 which it appears to be doing. If you're a long-term holder for the 4.1% dividend, you're not in danger unless this falls below $45. If it bounces at $45, he would add more. But if you sold some shares now, that's a good idea.

COMMENT

He sold this (and all tech) last year. He's watching it though. A great company, but the sector is out of favour. MSFT has support around $380. See if today's bounce last a little while. If it holds, then the next target is the low-$400s.
