Had to suspend their Turkish operations. Suit has to be reviewed by the courts. Be patient. He thinks they will get through this. Also have a gold mine in China and another mine in Turkey.

This is one of those companies that he won’t believe it until he sees it. Dealing with mining on the ocean floor requiring new technology.

New CEO. Haven’t followed it too closely. Had been a fan of their Yukon project, but not of Nevada. Now looks at it as a mediocre type of investment.

High-grade copper ore body in British Columbia, but you are looking at something that might require a bulk mining method. Not sure where the capital costs will lie.

Auto business is a very difficult industry in mature markets like North America and Europe. This company mainly provides parts to these markets. Stock is trading at about BV. Have a clean balance sheet so in tough times they will outperform the others. Can't see how you can make a lot of money out of this stock with the economy the way it is and the outlook.

Oil and gas in Albania. Stocks lifted dramatically because of new management coming in from Rally. Looking for a lot of good things such as production growth and creation of reserves in the ground. Stock should continue to do well.
COMMENT
Uranium: - Long-term outlook for uranium is very bullish. Demand for energy in Asia is increasing while production is substantially less. Existing stockpiles have been there since the 70s and 80s. If some of the hedge funds decide to sell what they have, the price of uranium could drop.
COMMENT
Drilling results have been very good but the stock is expensive. Some of their assets are in Cameco (CCO-T) area where there is sometimes a water issue.

Uranium. Good price. Recommends you keep a basket of them.

Banks are great companies in Canada as there is an oligopoly so not too much competition. Great for the long-term but in the short term there is a massive liquidity crisis, which is extremely important. Investments are all about risk/reward. If the liquidity crisis worsens, the banks could go down 50%. Would rather be cash and wait.
COMMENT
This is a tough one to figure out. You need an expert on this. Depending on who you talk to, the deposit is a different size. It is still open and they are drilling. Kind of a risky one.
TOP PICK
Gold. Feels the down side is very small. Have sold their assets to Kinross (K-T) to earn 70%, so this company will keep 30%. $70 million market cap and have $30 million cash. Also have other assets they are exploring. Risk/reward ratio is very attractive.

Just acquired a competitor that was facing bankruptcy. Stock has come down substantially from its recent high. This is the first time that they've had a very good winter across the country.
