Got to the point where their debt levels were unmanageable and he sold. Haven't generated any free cash flow for 4/5 years.

There's a two year base. Thinks it will be higher in a year around $4.30, put a stop loss at around $3.00

Doesn't like it. Better company then it was a few years ago. He doesn't like the airline industry. Perfers ERJ over this.

Has had some tough times, had a little lift and is looking better. This is more of a speculation on a turnaround. Doesn't like to buy turnarounds. Short-term risks are probably past, but it could be a long grind. There are a lot of sellers looking to get their money out.

BUY

The model price is $3.87, a positive 16.5% differential. Have bought this stock on and off and have just currently added it to his Canada Focus Fund.

DON'T BUY

Doesn't have any comfort with the management of this company. Doesn't think they can turn the company around.

Gets hurt by the strong Cnd$. The concern is on the aerospace side as to whether they were going to commit themselves to a very large capital project. Have a pretty big pension shortfall liability. Hasn't been a lot of margin improvement.

COMMENT

These guys have to win, being the commanding force in the business jet world. Even junior companies seem to have their own jets nowadays. The stock should jump between $2.50/4.00 so you should be able to make some money.

DON'T BUY

Can't make any money in their rail division because the margins are so lousy. Embraer of Brazil is increasingly taking the regional jet business away from them. On the upside, the small jet market has been stronger. Would play the bonds or the preferreds rather than the shares.

SELL

Continues to be a troubled company. Has not been able to generate any big orders for its jets. Troubles with family management controlling the company. Still some questions on the financial side.

HOLD

Has just slightly above average valuation. There is just a touch of profit growth. ROE levels are low and barely rising. Speculative at this point. It's likely that the worst has been seen.

(A Top Pick July 21/05. Up 1%.) Feels the aerospace theme is going to continue to do well. Sold this a few months ago.

When companies drop like this one, he would tend to move on. Still have some issues.

Even though things are going well in certain areas of the business, he is afraid it will be a dominant stock for some time.

Not a fan of this stock. Sold off assets that would be their growth and are left with assets that are cyclical. Depends a lot on government handouts.
