Bombardier Inc has shown remarkable growth and transformation in the aerospace and defense sectors. Analysts have acknowledged a significant turnaround from near-bankruptcy to a leader in business jets, with improvements in debt and a solid balance sheet. The company has benefited from increased demand in the aircraft segment, particularly in private aviation, and has secured government contracts that may lead to further growth. Despite the promising outlook, some experts caution that the stock is trading at higher multiples, indicating potential valuation concerns. Overall, optimism persists about its future prospects, with strong service business margins and an expanding order book.

DON'T BUY
Having its lunch eaten by Enbriar. A lot of people think this company is at risk developing the new aeroplane. Their train business is low margin. Their regional jets are making money now. Doesn't think they are going broke, so prefers the preferred shares and some of the bonds which are a discount to par.
DON'T BUY
There is a severity of polarity in terms of analysts’ opinions. He is undecided on this one and until they reposition themselves, he is not interested.
BUY
Has a model price of $3.83 which is a 40% differential. A speculation.
DON'T BUY
From '01 to '03 has had a long fall, went into a corrective wave in '03 which looked good, but went down again in '04. No oomph to it.
DON'T BUY
If you are going to play this stock, you are better off with it's preferred shares (BBD.PR.D-T) and it's bonds which offer excellent yield.
DON'T BUY
Their product line has not been as good as their competitor Enbriair as well as having some capital issues.
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick July 21/05. Down 21%.) Was sold when it moved down in the rankings of the model. Labour negotiations could get messy.
DON'T BUY
Airline sector is her least favourite sector. With all the bankruptcies being announced, the demand for their 50 seat jet is likely to be, at best, lackluster. Too much uncertainty at this stage.
PAST TOP PICK
(Past Top Pick April 18/05. Up 6%.) Had a target of $3 and when it crossed that, he sold it. Now back to an interesting level and have started to buy it back.
HOLD
In the short term, the stock had a rally and started to make a base and looked like it was holding at $3, but has now come down. There's a chance that at the next upleg in the market, which he expects to be in the tail end of the year or 1st quarter next year, the stock could go higher. Speculative. Might be good for a trade.
WEAK BUY
Not sure what to do with his own holdings on this one. Hoping that management will continue to turn the company around.
DON'T BUY
Industrial seasonality is from the end of September to the end of May. Technically, it broke a key support level which is a negative. Earnings are expected to be flat during the 3rd and 4th quarters.
WEAK BUY
OK if looking at it from a 2/3 year time horizon. Getting closer to the production of the 100 seater jet, but it will certainly take 5 years.
SELL
An interesting stock. It needs a lot of help from the government to stay afloat. Not very viable.
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick July 21/05. Down 7%.) There are concerns in the near term because of bankruptcy of 2 of the US airlines. Has good growth on the business jet side which is why it ranks well in his model. Will probably buy it back at around $2.75.
