This summary was created by AI, based on 15 opinions in the last 12 months.

Bombardier Inc. has demonstrated a remarkable turnaround, transitioning from near-bankruptcy to becoming a leading player in the business jet sector with a strong balance sheet and improving cash flow. The aerospace industry, particularly business aviation, shows significant growth potential, bolstered by catalysts such as government contracts and expanding demand for high-margin services. Investors have noted the company's solid order book, which grew substantially in the past year, coupled with a focus on profitable operations and debt reduction. While some experts caution about the capital-intensive nature of the business and potential geopolitical risks, the overall sentiment remains optimistic regarding Bombardier's strategic positioning and future growth prospects.

DON'T BUY
There's a lot of world class aerospace companies and you don't need to buy this one.
HOLD
Things are getting better after a couple of tough years. The travel industry is recovering. The real upside here is from the business jets. Could get to $4.50, maybe $5.
SELL
Not a favourite. Had a good run up. Seems to have sorted out some of their problems. There are still some huge uncertainties regarding the airplane part of their business. Getting contracts in the rails which is low margin. Will be dead money for awhile.
DON'T BUY
Not an industry he would be comfortable with. Hard to justify on fundamentals. Multiple is too high.
HOLD
Management are making some good changes. Longer term, the outlook for regional jets should be good. If it got up to $5/6 he would look at lightening up.
BUY
Considers this to be in a low risk sector, industrials which is only 6 months into the ups. Thinks we are in the early stages of an aerospace boom which will probably benefit this company.
DON'T BUY
Has a lot of challenges ahead. Have some good brand names and a solid base in the transportation system, but they have to get the profitability up. Seem to be doing well in business jets turbo props, but are really struggling on the regional jets. Have to get their 100 seater built in order to compete.
DON'T BUY
Would not buy at these prices.
DON'T BUY
A lot of risk in this stock, particularily on the financial side.
TOP PICK
Analyst Richard Stoneman is keen on the aerospace business. AirChina has just put in an order for 28 Airbus 330's, Europa has an order for 18 Boeing 737's. Many of the airlines are now making profits. Ranks well in his database model. In January '06 they are expected to earn $0.14 expected to grow 15% by Jan/07.
HOLD
Bought as a speculation a few months ago, based on a bottoming of the market in general. A great believer in the expansion of the right companies in the aviation business. They are landing contracts and it's getting better.
DON'T BUY
Remains concerned about this company. Their strength is in their CRJ50 which is not where the demand is. Demand is in the 70 to 90 seat regional planes. Their balance sheet has continued to do vendor financing and have taken it above their stated limit of $1 billion to about $1.5. Continue to hold $2.5 billion in residual value guarantees.
DON'T BUY
Investors have a tendency to go back to past darlings, but he prefers to focus on new winners and companies that are doing well right now. This one is not doing well right now. It is still suffering and still trying to deal with major issues. Some issues are improving in the short term. Competition in transportation will increase.
BUY
Long term view is positive. It's returning to profitability this year and into next year. Last quarter's numbers were good on their aerospace side. Rail and European operations have been an ongoing restructuring. Wait to see what happens with developing the new regional jet.
DON'T BUY
Market is getting a little less worried about this company. They're a little more comfotable with the business jet market, foreign exchange issues are not as serious, maybe transportation margins will improve. He's not bullish as he has never seen a company in the mass transit market make money. Lots of risks.
