Agrium (AGU.TO)

BUY ON WEAKNESS
One of his core growth stocks. Fertilizer area just has to grow. Made a great acquisition in Australia and can see a lot of synergy with the far east in this. If it dropped any further he would be adding to his holdings.
BUY
Had a nice bounce last week but still likes. Business is less cyclical and more diversified than Potash (POT-T). Future is still bright.
BUY
Great company. Little bit less on the margins compared to Potash (POT-T). Over time, a great one to hold in your portfolio.
WATCH
If we get some stability in the market, these are places are going to get well quickly. Seasonality for fertilizers is from July into later fall.
COMMENT
Stock has completed an ABC formation and he is sure it will have a bounce. He would suggest that you don't go too much overweight in commodities. If you want to get involved in the recovery, you'll probably see money going into stocks that had been really beaten up. This would include technology and financials.
HOLD
Numbers yesterday better than any one thought. Commodities are very volatile. People have to assume their earnings will continue into the future. New money have to flow into this stock.
BUY
Corn crop is coming in a little bit stronger than expected, which is very good for fertilizer companies. They are a consolidator in the industry. Earnings are growing.
TOP PICK
Likes that it is focused on nitrogen and the fertilizer area, which caters to the growing demand for corn. Great retail and wholesale base being built up in North America, South America and now Australia. Target of $110.
COMMENT

To write a covered call on this at the money of $86, gives a caller $2.50. That is the correct way to do it and this is a stock that he does over and over again.

BUY
Came out with very nice earnings in the last quarter. An excellent holding. He got stopped out of his holdings about 3 months ago. Will be integral for your portfolio over the next 5-10 years.
WAIT
Doesn't see anything in particular from as seasonality perspective. Currently he likes the stock and it seems to have bottomed out in the high $70 range. If it can break through to $88, it might make a new recent high to $95.
TOP PICK
Has wholesale and retail businesses in agriculture. This will continue to benefit from the long-term trend in the global agricultural space. There is rising demand from developing nations. Crop prices continue to move up. Trading around 10-11 times forward PE, which is pretty cheap to where it has been. Has a decent double-digit long-term growth rate.
TOP PICK
Likes their retail business because it is more stable. Operations in several countries giving good diversification. Trades at about 12X forward earnings. Good entry point. After they complete their CapX program they will have room to increase their dividend. Payout ratio of about 6%.
COMMENT
Has just had a higher low so thinks its correction period is over. Potash (POT-T) looks stronger. The sector is healthy.
BUY
Bullish on the entire agro sector. World food supplies are getting drawn down. This is a terrific company. Integrated operations from fertilizer production through distribution and wholesale in a number of product lines. Global operations.
