TSE:POT

PotashCorp (POT.TO)

BUY
Potash prices are not going down, but the stock is, so it will rebound before others.
COMMENT
Great prospects. Getting into a buying range. Got a little ahead of itself.
COMMENT
Prefers Agrium (AGU-T) because of their union strike scenario. Numbers are going to be weaker than people are recognizing. Until they settle with their unions and get back to business, they are in the penalty box.
HOLD
Likes Agrium (AGU-T), Potash (POT-T) and Mosaic (MOS-N). Unlike oil and gold, fertilizer prices have not been fluctuating. Strong demand from India and China and a good year for the farmers in North America. Patience will be rewarded.
COMMENT
Slightly down today, but there could be another down leg in agricultural stocks.
DON'T BUY
Actually short this in one of his accounts. Looking to cover around $140. Too expensive at this point.
DON'T BUY
Technically the stock is broken. Currently he is Short on this one. Would wait to see the agriculture stocks technically turn around.
DON'T BUY
(Market Call Minute.) Looks quite vulnerable.
BUY
Agrium (AGU-T) and Potash (POT-T) are moving into Buying territory. Whether you Buy now or wait until next week, agricultural stocks are Buys.
TOP PICK
Potash prices have been very strong. Hasn't slowed down at all with current corn crops. One of the best earnings growth stories on the TSX. Trading at a very attractive 8X earnings rate.
BUY ON WEAKNESS
Fertilizer is a good place to be and always will be. There are food shortages in many places around the world. Food inflation is one of the biggest problems there is. Doesn't feel the valuation of this company is cheap.
TOP PICK
Has corrected in the last couple of months. Great asset. World's largest potash producer, which gives them an incredible amount of control in terms of supply and pricing. Expecting them to sign a $1000 a ton contract with China and if that happens, it would give them well north of $22 a share in earnings.
DON'T BUY
Went up strictly on product not the company. Potash has gone to the moon and now the problem is that there is a lot of potash in the world. If he invested, he would like it to go up another 100% but he has no clarity so he is staying away.
DON'T BUY
Selling at extremely rich multiples based upon earnings going from $4 to over $12 or even $20 if everything goes well over the next couple of years. Pretty high multiple on trailing earnings and on any disappointment this stock could have quite a punishment effect on your portfolio. Too much risk and not enough reward.
BUY
Still a fundamental believer in the agricultural cycle. Not a bad entry point for the next 3 to 6 months. Would be cautious beyond that as you look beyond the peak earnings they could be seeing for next year.
