Canadian Oil Sands (COS.TO)

BUY
This is a must as a core holding for portfolios.
BUY
The two best plays in the oil sands are Suncor (SU-T) and Canadian Oil Sands (COS.UN-T).
BUY
He would be inclined to hold an overweight position in oils.
BUY
Good long-term play. Should have a three to five-year outlook when buying.
BUY ON WEAKNESS
Prospects from a cash flow prospective are looking quite good. Distributions should rise quite dramatically over the next 12/18 months due to increased oil prices and reduction in their debt. Getting to an attractive level but would wait for further reduction before buying.
HOLD
Great company. Oil sands is one of the premier places to invest with its 50 year reserve life.
DON'T BUY
Has never been his favourite, because in trusts, he usually does a cut off at 6/7% yield. This has a yield of 3.7%. Have very long life reserves.
BUY
A great asset base. Highly levered to oil prices. Expanding their production which should increase their cash flow.
BUY ON WEAKNESS
Has had a tremendous run. Wouldn't buy today, but would wait for a better opportunity. Longer term, a fantastic story.
BUY
A unique trust in that it is a mining oil/gas trust. Just increased their distributions from $1 to $1.50. Have announced a 5 for 1 split. Last quarter had high operating costs because of high gas prices. Gas prices have dropped some next quarter should be good.
DON'T BUY
If you want to have an almost pure play exposure to the oil sands, this is a great name to own. For the long-term, probably the best play in the energy business to be. Have probably seen the best share price movement and probably not cheap at this point.
BUY
Good oil sands play.
BUY
A long-term story. Giving their balance sheet into a point where they are going to have to make a dramatic increase in the distributions by the end of the year.
DON'T BUY
The largest name in the income trust sector. A lot of funds have to buy this name because of its size. Your participation will probably depend on oil prices. If you believe they will continue to be high, it may be one you should consider holding in a moderate level. Price is very high and includes a lot of optimism.
BUY
Loves this one, but owns Suncor (SU-T) instead. They are equally good companies. The oil sands is a great place to be.
