This is a seasonal point of strength for gold and a good piece to have in your portfolio. Wouldn’t buy it for the long-term as the yields are quite low. Probably not a bad time to buy in but be ready to take some profits when bullion itself tops out. Could be $20 a year out.

YRI is improving dramatically. And it's good they're returning capital to shareholders. He prefers higher-grade companies like FNV and Barrick. But if gold rapidly rises, YRI would outperform those bigger caps.
