BUY

This is one of those companies that is in the right place. They have a real opportunity in Columbia. A great management team. Near term catalysts because they are involved in a drilling program where there should be news flow. The upside is significant if they have success. They have a pretty good balance sheet. Not likely to need to go to market to raise capital in the near term.

BUY

One of the premier explorers in South America with an initial start in Colombia. Just under 13,000-14,000 BOE’s a day, which is a good stable rate that generates good cash flow which they can deploy into high impact exploration. Have an emerging area in Peru, which is quite perspective as Peru has had very little oil exploration.

BUY ON WEAKNESS

Has considered trimming a little. There’s a $1.50 of inferred future profits. If it pulled back to $7 he would consider buying more.

Active in Colombia, Peru and Argentina. Expecting some news flow over the next month or two on some of their drilling. Have some very large potential reserves they could be drilling into.

Canadian but with operations exclusively in South America, primarily Colombia but expanding into Peru, Argentina and Brazil. 100% oil, no debt and $300 million in cash.

Been a pretty big winner for them. Waiting for their exploration [program to hit. Potential takeover rumour. Remains a great, great company. There is an excess of oil right now globally. A couple of good wells would change analysts’ expectations.

Some very smart people. Drilling in Colombia and Peru right now. They are looking for the big, multi-blockbuster field and have had pretty good track record in the past. Cash flow from existing properties can support the existing stock price but if they continue having success, they could get to $12-$15.

Colombian play. Good solid company. When the 3 stock exchanges, Colombian, Chilean and Argentinean merge early next year all of the companies in Colombia are going to get a bump.

HOLD

Has to show investors what it can do, a “show me” story. Investors like this one a lot. Excellent management team. Some real prospectivity in Peru. Real catalyst is Colombia where it has a lot of acreage. Lots of cash.
