Stock price is reflective of the malaise in energy prices. This is a good opportunity to pick this up at an attractive valuation. Has a very robust fleet of Canadian assets plus their North Sea exposure and their enormous wells in Southeast Asia.

(A Top Pick Aug 25/06. Down 2.5%.) Had looked at this as a defensive name. Has now sold his holdings. They are shrinking their balance sheet by selling off non-core assets and buying back stock. Would prefer Petro Canada (PCA-T) now.

Stock was looking rather good but recently broke its trend line. This has been an ABC correction, so look to see if there is a lot of volume, and if not, you might consider selling some of it.

(A Top Pick July 17/06. Up 13.2%.) One of the best managed Energy companies. Great international exposure. Well balanced between natural gas and oil. Significant amount of cash reserves. Can see production going from 258 thousand barrels to 280 in the next couple years.

DON'T BUY

No real well defined trend. There are a lot of better oil plays, especially the integrateds.

Traits in line with the price of oil. If you think the end price will increase, like she does, this is a pretty good holding.

Was amazed at how much it came off today. People are just jittery about Canadian resource plays. Inexpensive, but feels it will drift during the summer.
