Viterra Inc (VT.TO)

BUY
(Market Call Minute.) It's going to be a back end loaded year but you're going to get a big increase in production on the prairies this summer.
BUY
(Market Call Minute.) Breaking above its resistance level. Could see $11 on the upside.
BUY
His model price is $12.11, a 46% positive differential. Market thinks it is going to earn $.34.
BUY
(Market Call Minute.) You can accumulate this for the long term. Brilliant management.
BUY
A play on the growing sector. The one concern was that it raised about $400 million in order to make some acquisitions. He is having a second look on how management is going to handle that strategy. Overall, a good stock. Not as volatile as some others. If you believe in the longer-term story of agriculture, a good holding.
BUY
Should basically go along with grains. Been unfairly punished. You would expect, on a seasonal basis, when grain tends to go up, the stock would do the same. Grains tend to go up from August until the end of the year. Hasn't worked this year. Since we are now in the seasonal time there may be a bounce. Technically there should be support at this point. Exit later on in the year.
TOP PICK
Had a spectacular last quarter. Vastly undervalued. Farmers had a really good year. They benefit from the margins on fertilizers. They also cleaned and transport the grain.
BUY
Cash flow positive. Longer term, analysts are looking at $15 but he thinks it will be around $11 or $12. Well run company.
BUY
(Market Call Minute.) Low multiple and reasonable yield. Great underlying fundamentals.
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick Oct 24/07. Down 39%.) Thinks this will bounce back to double digits. Has been overdone in just the last month.
BUY
(Market Call Minute.) Love this one. Last quarter earnings were spectacular. Think next quarter earnings will be very strong as well.
COMMENT
He has a model price of $14.79. That's a 42% positive differential. It is at an important type of level for it to hold. If you bought and it went to $12.30, he would be a seller.
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick Sept 18/07. Down 4%.) Agriculture boom is over for now and is not the place to be. Doesn't expect this to change for quite a while. Was stopped out in July.
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick Sept 27/07. Up 2%.) Had been overbought. Coming back into the support level at about $10.50.
COMMENT
Management is talking about doing a lot more takeovers. Have sullied the balance sheet with a lot of debt. Fortunately, they are in an industry where things are going very well for them. He had bought in at $5.57 and sold almost 70%. Holding on to the rest because there is a lot of potential upside.
