DON'T BUY

Copper/gold in Mongolia. Have to get the mining issues resolved with the government and Rio Tinto (RTP-N). Some assets in Australia. You can go other places where it will be faster.

They are for sale. Probably a decent entry point. Expects it to go back and challenge the old high.

A lot of press for their big discovery in the Gobi desert in Mongolia. Waiting for the Mongolian government to sign off on the agreement. Also have assets in Australia.

WATCH

Had a top in April and another one recently at $12. Had a hard time making new highs. If you own, he would sell if it dropped below $10.

COMMENT

Interesting exploration company. Production is limited right now. A lot of speculation.

DON'T BUY

Unsure about the government of Mongolia and how it makes policy, enforces the rule of law, shareholders rights, or even property rights. Too much risk.

DON'T BUY

High-risk, Mongolian venture. Rio Tinto (RTP-N) is also in there. A lot of political risks there.

BUY

Rio Tinto (RTP-N) is putting in $1.5 billion. This is quite a surprise as a Mongolian government is talking higher taxes, so all the development risks are going to Rio Tinto. A good deal. Long-term hold.

COMMENT

The stock has held in quite nicely and looks like it is perking up. Selling at a big discount. Still have a lot of hurdles.

DON'T BUY

Mongolia created a new tax ruling that greatly impacts their project when it goes into production. Expect that in the end, the company will be able to work something out. The worst is probably all over.

DON'T BUY

Lots of interesting stuff going on here. The problem is, what's going on and making any money out of it, are two different things. Has no fair market value that is of interest to him.

BUY

A world class deposit. Right next to the major Chinese industrial centres and all they have to do is build a 212km railway.

BUY

This is a stock that can move 50% up or down. He believes the base metal industry has a ways to go up because of the supply/demand picture.

DON'T BUY

Fabulous assets in Mongolia. Quite a long distance away from getting started. There is a litttle bit of controversy for some in terms of the debt and the methadology of the mining operation that has to take place. There are probably other situations that are closer to fruition that you should prefer.

DON'T BUY

If you are feeling wild and wooly this might be the one. It's in Mongolia. The mineral not only has to be mined, it has to be moved too. You also have to woory that the government won't do something nasty to foreign investors. Highly speculative.
