Market has been ignoring this one. At the lower end of its range. Has growing production over the next few years. Also exposed to the oil sands.

Perennial underperformer. Cheapest integrated oil, probably in North America. Continue to disappoint on production. Still thinks there's upside.

COMMENT

Had a number of problems in 2006. January started with a bang when they got Buzzard on in the North Sea. White Rose has been approved for expansion.

BUY

Has good growth potential, especially offshore east coast and the North Sea. Trades at a discount to its peers. Doing all the right things, the market just has not reacted yet.

HOLD

Finally seems to be getting some relative performance. Thinks the growth is coming, and if so, this is probably the cheapest senior oil in Canada.

BUY

Criticism has been that it has too many large projects and needs a narrower focus. Great diversified player. Has one of the cheapest valuations. Good price.

HOLD

Not his favourite integrated. Management has missed on a couple of occasions. Some of their projects have been slow in coming. Numbers have been somewhat sloppy in the past.

PAST TOP PICK

(A Top Pick Aug 3/06. Down 10.6%.) Has been disappointing, but he has a positive view on what is going on in oil.

DON'T BUY

Higher oil benefits all oil/gas producers. In this sector, he would prefer Suncor (SU-T). Too many question marks with respect to delays.

BUY

The stock price tracks the price of oil. In the near term, oil is going to stay relatively strong. Undervalued compared to its peers. A “ show me” stock. Thinks it is a great buy here.

HOLD

Haven't executed for a couple of years in terms of production growth. Have a diversity of supply. The street in general is turning negative/neutral on the name.

BUY

Amongst the best run integrateds. Likes this one a great deal. Well diversified geographically.

SELL

Not a fan of management. They have stumbled and he would not touch this with a 10 ft. pole.

DON'T BUY

Has not been behaving very well. Sometime in 2006, the 200-day moving average turned down and now the stock is trading well below it. Has been in a major down trend channel.
