DON'T BUY
When a stock comes down, it usually takes a long time in base building. Doesn't believe the company has got over its problems yet.
DON'T BUY
Ignores this one as it is very unpredictable. Not in a good financial position. Won't invest in any business that's not current on its financial statement.
DON'T BUY
Not cheap in his view. Has some good businesses and is on its way to recovering, however the environment now is much more difficult than it was 5 years ago. If you wanted a company in this sector, would prefer to look at Cisco (CSCO-Q).
DON'T BUY
Feels that if there was corruption at the top, there was corruption through the whole culture. They are doing the right things to get that out, but it is a long process.
DON'T BUY
Has some challenges. The move to Voice over IP leads him into companies like Juniper (JNPR-Q), Cisco (CSCO-Q), etc. Expect it will stabilize, but not interesting.
DON'T BUY
Had a surprising bounce on news he thought was negative. There might be a trade in it, but on fundamentals would have a tough time giving it a Buy.
DON'T BUY
A long slow turn. Way too early to get bullish on the stock.
DON'T BUY
Not a fan. Feels it will survive. The sector that they are has become extremely competitive. Multiples are not going to be what they were. Growth is going to be much slower. Still potentially open to litigation.
BUY
Hard to get excited . Feels they are coming to a break even on earnings. Costs are coming down and revenues are starting to rise. Thinks that earnings are starting to accelerate. Likes on a valuation basis relative to sales and expected earnings. Starting to buy.
DON'T BUY
The problem with a stock like this, that has had a major collapse, is that they'll have to get their fundamentals in shape. Until that happens there is not likely to be much interest by investors.
DON'T BUY
They seem to be getting their house in order. Have huge revenues. Seem to be getting the accounting turned around. Feels he might put it back on his Watch List which means he won't buy for a minimum of 6 months, often for years. Always wary when management has been making huge mistakes.
DON'T BUY
Can't really come up with a good reason to own this stock. The future is still uncertain. The competitive environment is quite fierce.
WEAK BUY
Very speculative. Have now filed their final catch-up papers and if it is going to be a survivor, this would be a good entry point.
WAIT
Q1 earnings coming out tomorrow. If the earnings are squeaky clean at $0.10 this year and the street says possibly $0.18 next year. At 25 X earnings they would look at it.
HOLD
Strongly recommended selling a year ago last January when he felt it would drop to the $3/4.50 range. Kind of in that range and starting to warm up to it. On the verge of buying.
