BUY
Has unbelievable undeveloped land base and unconventional reserves that are not booked. Market cap is about $44 billion and he figures they’ve got about $15 billion in un-booked reserves. Good price.
COMMENT
If they were to spend on an oil sands division, that would be very positive for them. Most people own this for the natural gas.
BUY
With the decline in the share price, the value is terrific. He is a long-term believer in natural gas. Thinks the pricing of natural gas is pretty close to its bottom.
DON'T BUY
Not that cheap any more.
HOLD
Extremely cheap on a price/earnings multiple. However, it is very gassy. If it runs up into the $60 range, take some profits. Great company.
BUY
A solid company.
HOLD
Concerned about the natural gas market. You are going to get gas on gas competition in the summer once the storage starts to fill up. However, they are focused on tight gas plus some development into the sands project.
BUY
This is a good time to buy natural gas. Normally, natural gas should sell at 1/6th of the price of oil. With oil at $72, gas should be $12.
BUY
A good time to buy. It is a gas leveraged large cap. Suffered with the lower gas prices. We'll be revealing their oil sands strategy in the third quarter which will probably create value.
TOP PICK
Had quite a setback on concerns of the price of natural gas. US is desperate to get long-term supplies of natural gas. Also has a big oil sands exposure. Good fundamental value.
TOP PICK
Big disappointment this year has been natural gas, but it is still trading north of $6 even though it has been a mild winter. Feels that $6 is a floor. Have tremendous reserve potential growth. Also have oil sands assets.
BUY
Has been lagging oil producers because the price of natural gas has dropped dramatically. With its non-conventional production techniques, it is well positioned. There will be a big demand for natural gas over the balance of this decade.
DON'T BUY
Has some problems with them since they came out a few months ago that hedging had cost them a significant amount of money. New president. Very gas weighted. If it went to $48 it might look more interesting.
BUY
A major player in natural gas. Thinks it is in the throes of bottoming. They have oil sands holdings which is quite attractive and is not been properly reflected in the stock price.
BUY
Canada's large gas play. Natural gas prices have dropped because of a large amount of storage right now. You could bet that the coming hurricane season and a really hot summer will increased demand.
