Thinks this is a good time to be investing in manufacturers of medical devices. There is a whole seasonality that starts in January with a little bit of a pickup in February. They tend to peak every year right around August/September, so there is a bit of time to ride this out.

DON'T BUY

In the last 9 months they had their heart defibrillator withdrawn from the US market because of FDA problems. Would steer clear of this one.

Had an earnings disappointment. FMV trend is sharply down. When factoring in analysts forecasts, the FMV is about $12.30.

BUY ON WEAKNESS

Will have to go to $20.50 before it has a bounce. Has a model price of $31.95 which is a 37/38% differential.

In a lawsuit with Johnson and Johnson (JNJ-N), so a lot depends on who wins the case. Their product works better than JNJ and he continues to like it.

Things look good for them. Won a patent case against Johnson & Johnson (JNJ-N).

It's close to a buy. Model price is $32.09 which is a 5% differential.

"We really like Boston [Scientific]" Thinks they have a better product then the competitor. Had a series of recalls, but have been able to gain back the marketshare. But the stock didn't recover as well. So is now undervalued.

DON'T BUY

Long term chart shows that it made a base, had a fantastic rise to $45 in 2002/2003, very little top formation and now we are in a downtrend. Stock has now fallen below its 200 day moving average.

A good company. Their coated stents is a terrific product. Up against Johnson & Johnson in the stent business, but they are holding their own. A good buy at this price.

WEAK BUY

Stock has dropped because of the recall of their stent. Price is reasonably attractive.

TOP PICK

A company that focuses on earnings. A tremendous new product that should give a nice boost to their income.

DON'T BUY

Its drug coated stent is driving the price up, but other competitors are lurking on the horizon. Not cheap.

Likes this sector. Strong and persistant growth. Revenue and earnings growth has been very persistant. Good products. Buy on pull backs.
