(A Past Top Pick on April 26, 2017, Up 23%) Was bought out by Pembina after his recommendation--a complete surprise--which led to that jump in value.

(A Top Pick March 22, 2017. Up 39.87%). Last March, people were very concerned that the company was in trouble and might cut the dividend. He saw it as undervalued and a great takeover target, and loaded up the truck at $8-$9. He still sees it as a good target. Pembina has now bought the company.

(A Top Pick March 24/17 - Up 32.1%) At the time it was very cheap on a free cash flow basis.

(A Top Pick Jan 18/17. Up 39%.) Acquired by Pembina (PPL-T).

Pembina Pipeline (PPL-T) acquired the company. Keep the stock or Sell and take profits? Pembina is not just a pure pipeline, but does have some oil interests as well. Chart shows a little bit of overhead that we have seen since 2015. There are a number of people that remember what they paid and will want their money back. We are getting close to that level. The chart is taking a slightly rounded look to it. Between the fact that it definitely has some technical resistance in the low $40 he would be tempted to take the cash. On the other hand, if you are interested in the dividend, it is a perfectly fine income stock. He wouldn't buy any new stock.

Pembina Pipeline (PPL-T) has made an offer to buy this company at $9.7 billion. He doesn’t think there is any issue and that it will likely close. This is a part share and park cash deal.

They are being bought out by PPL-T and it closes on the 4^th quarter of this year. You get shares of PPL-T and cash ($18.50). Roll it over into PPL-T because it is not a tax event then. Put the cash back into either PPL-T or ALA-T.

(Being acquired) Basically, you are just buying this to get the yield and the takeout price. We are in a pretty good market, and you don’t need to park cash to stay in cash and get just a simple dividend.

(Top Pick Feb 28/17, Up 39%) He was quite happy with the transaction. He switched from VSN-T to PPL-T.

This is being acquired by Pembina (PPL-T), which has better growth. Combined, there are some synergies. He thinks Pembina could be $48-$50 in the year. He likes all the pipelines. You get yield with growth.

Infrastructure and pipelines. The pipeline sector is not cheap. Lots of money is going in because there is great dividends. He holds this through ZWU-T. It has a covered call overlay and high dividends. He would not jump into VSN-T because it has flat lined after the takeover offer.

The stock has attempted to crack $19 or $20 multiple times, and failed every time. In this environment, even if it succeeds in taking over Pembina (PPL-T), it is a mediocre chart that he personally would not buy.

It was acquired. He can’t argue with this company or with the shares you get in PPL-T. It is a friendly deal.

This is in the natural gas liquids business. Have a number of projects on the go, but also the big talk is that the Jordan Cove and LNG project off Oregon could potentially be back on, and that could be a game changer for them. Dividend yield of 6.5%. (Analysts’ price target is $15.54.)

This was a Top Pick March 24/17. It has had a pretty big move in the last month or so, and is currently at a level where he doesn’t see much upside as there was. They are looking to increase the Alliance pipeline by 30%, which could be very accretive. Pays a good distribution that is getting safer. Try to add to this on a bit of a pullback.
