DON'T BUY

Turned itself into an income stock with their dividend increases. Did so by scrapping their expansion policy in the US and getting rid of the sales force. Major problem is too many moving parts and you’re not certain what’s coming down the pipe or what exclusivity they’ll have.

BUY

The model price is $36.29, a 50% positive differential.

BUY

Misunderstood company. New management has done some very good things with the company. Very cheap at about 10 X earnings. Paying out a special dividend. Paying off their debt.

DON'T BUY

Giving their cash back through higher dividends and share buy back. Had hoped they would make an acquisition. Sold his holdings.

Had a problem when its Wellbutrin got hit by generics. Now making a U-turn. Has lots of upside potential.

COMMENT

Survived a big crunch in August, has been forming a base and starting to break out. Do some fundamental research to see what’s coming up in the biotech space. From a technical basis, it doesn’t look too bad.

DON'T BUY

Has a lot of problems facing it.

HOLD

The model price is $32. Analysts have ratcheted down their earnings because of the court case, but he still sees no serious dilution in his model price. The company needs a passage of time along with some good news and he thinks it would go up to about $21.80. Further bad news would make it $15.80.

BUY

He is really close to putting this one back in his portfolio. All the negative risks have already been built into the stock. Generating lots of cash. Need to do an acquisition as well as fill up their pipeline a little bit more.

BUY

Trying to find some support and build a bit of a base. One of those stocks that will go up for 4-5 months and drop back on bad news. Risk/reward is pretty compelling at this level. If you buy and it makes a lower low, don't hold.

WATCH

Getting really close to coming back to this stock. Very close to having all the bad news out of this stock. Creating cash, decent balance sheet.

SELL

Recently seeing some better performance in large pharmaceutical stocks. Sector looks attractive, but this is not one of the leading stocks. Has been significant slowdown in revenues and will be losing money in the next 4 quarters.

WEAK BUY

A very, very difficult stock to follow. Seems to be plagued with problems. Extremely volatile. Speculative buy with a hoped-for recovery in the low to mid $20’s.

DON'T BUY

Facing a lot of challenges at the moment. Looks very cheap on an earnings basis but thinks earnings are going to be coming down. Would stay away until there is a little more clarity.

DON'T BUY

Doesn't like their business model. Forecasting and looking out long-term is very difficult for this business.
