Good-quality stock. It had quite a rally and is finally coming through with its earnings. Would wait for a little bit further weakness, maybe under $50, before buying. An attractive long-term company.

A favourite. Production is increasing so well. Ground zero Calgary oil sands.

DON'T BUY

This one is outside of his valuation constraints. It has a .7 dividend yield and a 1.7 price to sales. If the price to sales was under 1.5, it would be a beautiful stock.

TOP PICK

Likes their production profile going out. They could be increasing production from 350,000 per day up through 400,000 in the next couple of years. Even if you get a little softening in oil prices, they will do well. Selling at 3 X book value.

HOLD

Not cheap but you get a lot of terrific assets. There is a nice play in the oil sands, some international exposure and refineries. Thinking about taking some money off the table.

TOP PICK

Very cheap compared to its peers. 2006/2007 will be the year for increased production. Sold their Syrian assets and will use the money to buy back stocks.

BUY

Stocks in this space had had a run-up recently. Looking out 2/3 years, this is the cheapest of the integrateds. Not his favourite, but you will be well rewarded holding it.
