Dead money for quite a few years. The technology was tied to laptops but now everyone is using tablets. Thinks earnings will come through with earnings from Samsung agreement.

BUY

A misunderstood company where their accounting always messed up investors. Have always had a nice cash position. Do mobile tracking of computers and devices. There’s always that mobile Nirvana if they could capture that market. They have really started to make strides there. Have new customers on the mobile side. All the work they’ve done in the past 6-7 years has started to result in better cash flow. Could be a takeover.

DON'T BUY
Likes the company but not happy with the economy in terms of computer sales. Partners seem to be struggling a little bit. Good technology. In a true bull market, it could triple or quadruple.
BUY
World-class technology company. LoJack software is embedded in the CPU and also has a software agent, which allows a stolen laptop to be located and secured. Have been signing international agreements. Strong balance sheet.
WATCH
Provides value added services to computer resellers, mostly in the security area. The problem now is that laptop and PC sales have a slowing momentum. Also, consumers are not apt to pay for the extra. Beyond the next couple of years, they will do quite well. Watch to see how the underlying industry sales go.
HOLD
(Market Call Minute.) Their numbers were okay but they did a pre-warning for the first time in many years. Cash is half the value.
HOLD
Good business model and a lot of recurring revenues with some very strong partners. Small-cap tech stocks tend to be volatile.
BUY
Last quarter was on track and pretty decent. You could take a look at it here.
COMMENT
Stolen laptops software. Product is very good. Hard for his database to model it because there is no recurring revenue model. Moving to have the product into cell phones and RIM pagers over the next couple of months. Would like to see them acquire Route 1 (ROI-X) software.
BUY
Software that recovers lost/stolen laptops. Some disappointments in how quickly it was ramping and the stock pulled back. Just announced they are getting in the mobile space for managing/erasing files on handhelds. Risk/reward is looking pretty good.
HOLD
The business is fine. Still a takeover target.
COMMENT
He is positive on the IT sector. A great sector to be in for the 2nd half of the year. A lot of companies try to increase their efficiencies by looking for IT solutions.
BUY
Volatile. Rumours on the street believed there was competition from Phoenix Technologies (PTEC-Q) for their low jack technology. Phoenix’s results just came out and they don't seem to have any sales or partners. Right now, this company is the dominant player in the space. Just got bundled with Fujitsu.
DON'T BUY
Technology in recovery of laptops and will be very news driven. You don't buy it because of earnings but on deals going forward. Not the kind of market where people buy things that may happen over the next period of time. They want to see earnings, cash flow and predictability. Speculative.
TOP PICK
Their technology is used in laptop security applications, and laptop recovery. They have a very high recovery rate. An expensive stock on evaluation basis but the margins are huge.
