Potash One Inc. (KCL.TO)

DON'T BUY
Acquired Potash North recently. Lexus sector but expects a lot of volatility in the next quarter. Wants to take advantage of this so he prefers bigger names in order to write Call Options.
BUY ON WEAKNESS
(Market Call Minute.)
COMMENT
Potash. If you are a believer in the agricultural bull market story the charts look good. Perhaps someone will come and take them out. He prefers Agrium (AGU-T).
SELL
Potash has held its price up because of supply reductions from Potash (POT-T) and Russians. Sceptical that they can keep that game going. Expecting a revolt in the potash sector that will bring prices down. Should tread very lightly around any company that will need funding.
BUY
Likes the agricultural sector, which has some fairly solid fundamentals. Chart shows a nice base forming up to January with a nice breakout followed by another base. Expect this to go up another $1. Use a stop of $2-$2.25, which is the resistance point. (See Top Picks.)
DON'T BUY
A buyout prospect if you are bullish on potash pricing. In the short term, the stock will probably move sideways. Would invest in Potash (POT-T) instead.
COMMENT
Doesn't know this company very well. Prefers companies that have been around a minimum of 10 years. You have to think of what the price of potash will be. Overall, the demand for agriculture products will increase.
COMMENT
Doesn't think this will be a takeover play. Very well funded but think they will have to put the potash deposit in mothballs because it costs a lot of money to build a big mine. He likes agricultural minerals but prefers Potash (POT-T) with the largest volume, lowest and global distribution. Also they are price makers, not price takers which is very rare in the mining business.
COMMENT
Big overhang on potash pricing right now is what is it going to be. Negotiations with Chinese will probably not conclude until end of the1st quarter. Can't give an answer on this one, but thinks that Potash Corp (POT-T) represents good value.
COMMENT
Her preferred strategy would be to have stocks with cash flow so she would prefer Potash (POT-T) to this one. Think they will eventually get financing.
COMMENT
There could be a decent rally in potash but he would stick with Potash (POT-T), which doesn't have the enormous costs of construction. Also bear in mind the subject gets fatigued, which might be part of what is going on. There could be another down leg in these stocks.
BUY
Main risk is capital expenditures. Have to sink a huge shaft. Price of potash looks good. With flooding in US, people will spend more on fertilizer next year. Buy one in this group.
DON'T BUY
Fertilizer companies are now in the high end of their cycle. New companies are trying to get into this industry. A good example of something that is in the media limelight. Not a great time to be buying fertilizer stocks.
STRONG BUY
Securities firm just issued an analyst’s report projecting a price of $8.80 per share. About 125% over today's price. Good management. Talking about being in production by 2012.
BUY
(Market Call Minute.) Potash prices are going higher and will stay higher.
