Big believer in the story. Have a ton of cash. Recently acquired PMI Gold Corp, which has a property about 10 km away from their Asankrangwa project in Ghana. One of the nice things is that they are capitalized so they will be able to build their project. The asset they bought close by is in such close proximity that they could actually process the ore from that deposit at the same plant. This gives some economies of scale of putting 2 companies together. A couple of years ago, the management team bought into the company with about $20 million of their own personal money. Cheap.
An open pit facility in Guyana. As gold prices go up it benefits as it is a high beta stock. He is not too keen on this one as the grade of resource was not what he was looking for.
Market Cap is about the same as its cash. Came out with a feasibility project in Ghana with about a $286 million CapX to produce 200 million. Just announced financing and will be breaking ground early next year.
Trading just above its cash value right now. This is the name that he will revisit again. Changed their CEO. Trying to optimize their project. Thinks there are a number of potential catalysts that will come. You should be able to sleep at night knowing the cash is there.
This shows how depressed the gold equities have gotten. Thinks ultimately this company will get taken out. As company keeps advancing the mine to production it will be more attractive. A reasonable price would be 50% higher than where the stock is now.
Ghana, 2 projects. Hopefully will be in production in 3 years, but still doing drilling and expanding the size of it. It will probably continue to grind away here. Still some significant upside.
Could be a lot larger based on their recent drilling and there could continue to be more drilling news throughout the year that could double the NAV. If they get up to 5 million ounces it could become a $10 stock.
Run by some very good, competent people. Main zone is very good grade but as you move along the trend, it seems to be offset and driving deep so they are losing the grade and continuity to some degree.
Currently drilling project in Ghana. Doing environmental baseline studies right now. Will be at 5 million oz by end of year. Open pit mine. Just completed financing so they are cashed up.
Gold explorer in Africa. In the middle of a hot belt of gold fields. Based on recent metallurgical work and discoveries to date, NAV is about $12. Thinks the company will be taken over.
Have done a good job as an explorer as well as through growth and acquisition. Exploring for gold in Ghana. When value gets built, it gets built the fastest through exploration. Will likely have to do a financing in the next 3 or 4 months. Likes this company very much.
Gold exploration in Ghana. Have deposits fairly close to Newmont’s land (NMC-T). Currently have 1.7 million ounces. Supposed to have a resource update in the next 1 or 2 weeks. Targeting a resource of about 3 million ounces. Could be an acquisition in the next few years.
Active in Ghana. Had some interesting readings on trench results. Thinks there will be some relatively positive findings when they get into the drill results.
