BUY

They are going to take over UL-N. Companies are going up during an acquisition now. There is a nice general trend in this stock. We are probably just coming up to valuations. The down side is probably about $91. It is looking pretty good in its space.

COMMENT

A uranium project in Saskatchewan. It has strong seasonality right now. It is hard to know, if we get an exhaustion in the market, where will it go. Probably the $3.80 and then the $2.60 levels. It is tough to call. There are safer names in Uranium.

BUY

He likes this business. There is a loose base and you could call it a triangle. Below there is a nice little support there. It could come back to the trend line. It is a really good name and they are good managers of assets. He may buy this one. Nice dividend and they run a really good business.

COMMENT

The Five Banks. Caller is 50%+ with them. Is splitting positive? It can get more investors into the shares. Look at BRK-N that have not ever split. It is great that we focus on the general sector. He does not see inflation as a big issue and we have seen a good run in the banks.

PARTIAL SELL

Big news today. Strong sales. Maybe there is something else in there. See how it closes today. It could come back to the $145-8 level. We could be a slight amount over valued and you might want to sell half your position here.

TOP PICK

Just the big names in US healthcare. We have seen the bottom in here. It is one of the strongest sectors out there right now. We saw some rotation last week. It is in a secular bull market and we are at the beginning of it. It has a really good valuation. The political football that it has been is going to die down.

TOP PICK

If we think inflation is coming we should see that 10 year north of 3%, but it is not. We broke above the $49 level. There are a lot of buyers in there. It is one of the strongest sectors. If the 1 year gets above 2.6% then you have broken the theme.

TOP PICK

They have three divisions. Industrial components, power systems and equipment. They have had a huge run up based on earnings. They report in a couple of weeks. It may be necessary to sell after that.

N/A

Markets. We have priced a lot of things in. The S&P is up almost 10% since the election, with the TSX up 9%. The market is anticipating the pro-growth policies being implemented and ignoring the anti-trade comments. If there are delays in implementation we could easily get a pullback. The US economy has been improving all along even before Trump. Unemployment has been at 5% or lower for 16 months. She likes what she sees for the earnings season. Tax cuts will help to bring price to earnings ratios down. We need to see policies implemented now.

HOLD

She has been adding to the name for at least the last year and a half. It is 90% oil and is leveraged to its price. They are in Saskatchewan and Alberta. Prior to the down turn in energy they were criticized for continually issuing equity to fund acquisitions. In September of 2016, they came again to the market, but to strengthen their balance sheet and fund Cap-X. They have lagged in this rally because of this. We will hear more about what the activist investor wants to do. She is going to hold on to it.

COMMENT

She has owned UL-N for 4 years. She thinks the price is significantly too low. She owns it because 15% of revenues is from emerging markets. That is where the growth is in consumer goods.

DON'T BUY

They will benefit from higher interest rates. They ran into difficulty during the financial crisis and had to restructure. They are trying to grow their return on equity. She keeps her insurance exposure in Canada.

HOLD

A very high quality health care provider in the US. If you want exposure there, it is one of the best companies to hold. She likes healthcare as a secular theme due to the aging demographics. There is not one specific reason why is has gone up recently. Keep holding it.

DON'T BUY

It has done very well. But she prefers Yum Brands in that space. She holds both the companies after YUM split. MCD-N has brought in some growth with menu innovation. They have room to grow outside of the US, but YUM China is a more direct play. MCD-N is probably fairly valued.

HOLD

She has owned it for quite a number of years. It is the largest seniors housing player in Canada. She likes the demographics play. The company sold off all their US properties and they have been developing and re-investing the money. It has a 3.5% yield. It has been strong over the past three weeks. She would not buy it here, but hold it. Wait for a pullback if you want to imitate a position.
