They refurbish and replace existing turbines in power plants and there is a power crisis in Africa right now. A bigger play is their massive potash deposit in the Congo. Recently spun out a small portion of that development into a private company. Raised money to start funding the first stage, which was about $480 million for the entire phase 1. They are left with $400 million, about $2 a share.
Potash in western Africa. Asset value of well over $1 if they can get the deal with China National Company Plant Import (Complant) signed, which is extremely close. Surprised the stock has not been moving up.
Has rebounded off the bottom with a potash speculation of being a good takeover. In negotiations with the Chinese company Complant (?) to finance their plans for their Congo mine. Stock is $.70 if a deal is signed and $.25 if they don't. Speculative.
Small-cap potash with large deposit on west coast of Africa and signed contracts to Brazil. Need help financing to get into production. Have a deal with a Chinese bank but are stuck with Chinese government approvals. Delayed for 2 months so fast money has been leaving. Good risk/reward.
Potash in the Republic of Congo. (Not DRC) Phenomenal prospect and huge resource. Recently raised $10 or $15 million to look for other sources of funding, and think they will be successful.
Large potash resource in the Republic of Congo. From a trading perspective, it would be an interesting pick up here. Expect they will announce another large financing partnership over the next few months.
It is a small cap potash that needs financing for a deal they just did (TLC – sub-Sahara mining company). If the deal completes the stock probably goes to 60 or 70 cents, otherwise it is flatter longer. Thinks it’s a good deal. Will do nothing until deal is announced and then it will double in one day. For your fun money in a portfolio.
Takeover bid at $0.25 on the table. If there is going to be a counter offer, give it 2 or 3 weeks. Not trading above $0.25 indicates another offer is not coming so he would be tempted to take the offer.
Possible takeover by a Chinese company. If they are not taken over, how much further will they drop and can they possibly fulfill their mandate as to what they want to do?
