In the mid caps, this would be his preference. Feels the market has moved on from precious metals and there are more interesting areas to be in.
DON'T BUY
In Romania. Very difficult company to get to grips with. There are a whole bunch of stakeholders surrounding the area. Have to move a village, and this is not easy. Issues are being raised on environmental concerns.
COMMENT
Big gold asset in Romania and are trying to get a development permit. If they get it, it will probably go to $10.
BUY
An excellent company.
HOLD
Operations have been shut down temporarily because of environmental concerns by the Rumanian government. Feels that eventually they will be able to get the operation going.
DON'T BUY
Have a very large resource of gold. Political issues in Romania causing problems. No way to know if issues will be resolved, worth 10 times what it’s trading at if situation’s resolved. Politics are scary.
DON'T BUY
Have had a lot of difficulties with their Rumanian play. Even with its big drop, it is not of interest to him. Far too high given the risk scenario.
DON'T BUY
Romanian government isn’t sticking their nose in, they are trying to protect their people, supports the policy. The resource isn’t going anywhere, therefore the stock should eventually go up. It’s too risky at this price.
DON'T BUY
Caught in the frustration of trying to set up a mine in Romania.
DON'T BUY

They own the Rosia Montana gold mine in Transylvania. Have been trying to get permitted for approximately the last 10 years. This is going to continue to be an uphill battle. The resource is tremendous but he feels this is stuck in the jurisdiction where they don’t want the mine to go ahead. If they do get it permitted, how do they get the finances to build it?
