Ball Corporation (BLL)

This is packaging. Material stocks tend to do well during the more cyclical time frame of the year, basically from about November all the way through to April. Right now, this one is not showing the downdraft that is typical during the summer when you want to shy away from material stocks. It is still powering higher. The 20-day and 50 day moving averages are still going strong. It had a break of resistance at around $40.88, which is expected to act as a support on any retracement. Technically everything looks good, however it is not the seasonal time frame for materials.

Has had an absolutely tremendous run. Manufactures containers for soft drinks and for beer and are also involved in aerospace. Trading at the top of its historical range. He would be looking to Sell some of this. Insiders have been selling like crazy. One of the reasons not to sell at this point of the year when you’ve had a good gain, is tax loss deferral.

Wide mouth beer can doing very well. Stock has done very well this year and if you are worried you should take profits.
