They are still looking at an income trust scenario. If it's a NO, there's probably a $4/5 hit the stock will take. There are better opportunities out there.

He is currently buying this stock. Market is a little bit bored. The company is at full production and they're waiting for some additional pipeline capacity and some government contracts. They will easily do 24,000 barrels equivalent a day this year. They don't have a big well to be drilled until mid-September.

A lottery ticket! The company has gone into orphan status. Have disappointed investors many, many times. They keep needing money. Very risky.

Things are very solid. They need to put up their drilling results. Have a relatively slow drilling program because they're developing an entire field. Could do 30/40 thousand barrels a day in '07/'08. The market will start to pay attention when they see the ramp up from the mid teens. Not flashy, but a keeper.

Currently buying. Haven't found a mining partner as yet. The way the stock is acting, it is one or two things. There are some fundamental US buyers who like the leverage of the company as the price of oil goes up or somebody want s a piece of the company. He believes it's the latter situation.

Likes the junior uranium sector. Likes this company, but doesn't own. Good management and in a good area. Good potential.

Missed some filings so has not been trading on the TSX. Looks like a pretty serious situation when there's multiple years of filings that have to be done. Doesn't follow this company any more, but stopped as it was one of those perpetual disappointing management teams.

Lots of upside, but not in the short term. Had activity when Newmont (NMC-T) bought a piece of them in March. They are now developing their Star project, but a diamond mine is not something you do in a short period of time. Likes management. Will be a takeover target in a couple of years. Will be THE next diamond mine in 5 years.

Moving off of D6 and going further off shore. The new seismic is stunning and looks bigger than their last discovery. A very big area.

Has been a little bit disappointing recently. The Venezulean government changed some rules for oil/gas producers and this kind of dragged them down. A very well run company and Venezula is not their only country of operation. Nothing happening currently in terms of acquisitions, but wouldn't wait too long as the management team is quite aggressive.

Doesn't own. Wanted them to have 1 quarter to digest their big acquisition. Solidly managed company that is able to pull off some very good acquisitions which are always accretive to earnings. Cdn$ strength is always a problem for them, but Cdn/US$ interest rate spreads right now are at a 5 year high which will help if that trend continues.

(A Top Pick May 10/05. Up 14%.) A rock solid management team. They continue to beat their estimates. Will probably do 12,000 to 15,000 barrels a day.

(A Top Pick May 10/05. Down 40%.) Has been a huge disappointment. They missed their last earnings numbers. Even though the internet gambling space has been hot, they are deemed to be the loser in this space. Too cheap to sell at this time.

(A Top Pick May 10/05. Up 6%.) Still likes, but nothing at all will happen until mid September. There is a proxy fight with the vote on Sept 14th. If it loses you don't want to be around, but he's convinced it's going to win.

This has been one of the greatest stocks in the past few years. Trades it quite often. As oil shippers, they know they are in a cyclical business, so rather than keeping their money during the good times they paid a dividend. Dividend is sustainable as long as their earnings are sustainable.
