Has great faith in the management team, but beware: exploration (in the mineral space) is capital intensive and high risk.

Last year, these shares were absolutely on fire. This company is run by Sean Rosen, who is basically exposed to every big gold camp in Canada, and is extremely aggressive as an explorationist. If you like the Canadian exploration business, you have to own this. Understand that an extremely aggressive exploration play requires a lot of money, so this is not for the faint of heart.

He is not involved in the space. Most gold miners don’t consistently cover their cost of capital. If you were to become interested in the gold space, his inclination would be to play it through a royalty name.

The philosophy behind this company is to tie up entire districts. They know they are not acquiring the greatest ounces in the ground, but are applying the ideas that there is much more to these districts than the ounces that we see. An interesting model.
