Likes uranium. He has some in his portfolio. Plays U-T because it is the easiest way to play it. There are a lot of plants that are being built around the world. Russians are taking apart nuclear wepeons to use fuel in power pants but have almost run out.
WAIT
Doesn’t follow it. Thinks uranium will go up over time. Thinks the risk will be diminished with a 6-month wait more so than will the reward be diminished.
TOP PICK
(A Top Pick June 13/11. Down 15.62%.) Resource sector has been pummelled in the last year. Still buying. You are effectively buying uranium through this at $41 at pound where the current price is around $52. Demand continues to grow.
BUY
Sold after Japanese disaster last year. ROB reported that Chinese companies are looking at Canadian companies because they are building 15 new plants. He is looking at Uranium producers to see if they are potential acquisitions.
TOP PICK
Effectively at today it is like you are buying uranium at $42 a lb. and market price is $52-$60. Demand is growing. You haven’t even talked about Japan restarting production. Commodity should hit $70-$80 a pound.
TOP PICK
Just holds uranium. Always traded in line with uranium price. What intrigues him now is that uranium prices are around $52-$53 and has seemed to find a bottom after the Japanese disaster but this stocks price would put uranium at effectively $35.
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick Dec 15/10. Down 31.97%.) Sold his holdings at $6.50 after the Japanese disaster.
PAST TOP PICK
(Top Pick Nov 16/10, Down 25.31%) Got out during Japanese disaster. Thinks Uranium stocks are interesting now. Shale gas would make US independent and they would not uranium as much.
DON'T BUY
The good news is that uranium prices are $50. Feels the long-term outlook for uranium is questionable because of the Japanese reactor problems and the spill over effect in Europe. There are better commodity plays that uranium.
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick Oct 12/10. Down 17.42%.)
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick Sept 09/09. Down 5.29%.)
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick Sept 21/10. Down 6.54%.) Sold his holdings at $6.40 for a profit.
TOP PICK
This is not a mining company so there are no mining risks. Would you buy this company, you are basically buying uranium at under $50 a pound. Looking for uranium prices to head back to over $70-$80 a pound over the next couple of years.
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick July 27/10. Up 2.05%.)
DON'T BUY
You need to own groups that people care about. Uranium stocks will be out of favour for some time. There are better spots to have your money.
