Has gone through major problems. Asset management is a highly competitive business. Lost important personnel on the industrial side. The mutual fund and private client side is becoming very competitive.

COMMENT

Investment management Company. Has seen asset management Companies go through tough times through the years and has seen them fix their problems and go forward. Feels that this one can do the same thing.

DON'T BUY

It is a Halifax based company. They have had management problems and there are no signs of changing. There is a lot of uncertainties. Recommends not holding right now.

Had bad performance in a lot of their funds. This business is a performance driven business. Have also suffered from some management issues.

Likes the job that the team has done. One of the difficulties they have is that a lot of their assets are in Carrington Management Group (?) which has not been growing as rapidly as it has done. With asset management you want growth.

Well run and a good balance sheet. Will be a takeover target down the road.

Growing quickly. Good dividend but a little ahead of itself. Well managed.
