BUY
Water resources. Long-term outlook over the next 5-10 years is excellent. Valuation is a little pricey at 21X earnings. Wouldn't be surprised if the Democrats won't have major spending plans focused in infrastructure in which water is a key area. (See Top Picks for his infrastructure play.)
TOP PICK
Little pricey with a PE ratio of 21/22 and may be slightly on the volatile side. Excellent way to play infrastructures. Benefits from $41 trillion in spending of which 22% will be in water. Globally diversified. Would start modestly and gradually build on it.
TOP PICK
Infrastructure on water resources, which will get the largest chunk of spending over the next 25 years. Need for clean water is great, especially in emerging economies.
BUY
ETF for water that includes desalination, pipelines, valve companies, etc. Has a 5% holding in water, which he considers to be the next oil. Municipalities starting to focus on how they are going to supply water.
DON'T BUY
CWW-T in Canada is his preference because of currency risk.
BUY ON WEAKNESS

A very old one from 2003, the largest in water. It focuses on purifying water. Water will become more important than oil. It's US-focused. CGW and CWW are more globally-oriented water ETFs. PHO scores high in ESG. This has good tailwinds, but that's already priced into PHO. Trade at 4x book and 33x earnings. This has outperformed its peer in the U.S. Wait for a correction.

COMMENT

Global water ETF that is half focused on the industrial side, like pipelines and infrastructure for water, and half the utility side. CWW is for the Canadian etf, and PHO trades in the US.

BUY
Thinks water in general as a theme is likely to outperform in the coming decade or two. Long term outperformer but some challenges in the short term. Oversold enough that putting new money in could be worth it. Could pull back to 50 due to market volatility. Would still buy in that case.
BUY
water A fine, long-term strategic hold given environmental concerns. Namely, global warming is a real concern that Bay and Wall streets still need to come to terms with. You must use water for agriculture, personal use and infrastructure, so demand is solid. Water investments are pretty safe.
BUY
The question was on a water ETF. PHO is a good place to start. It owns securities in the water industry which create products including purification sytsems for homes,, business and industry.
