Ravi Sood Canadian Hydro Developers KHD-T COMMENT Apr 21, 2008

This company has a portfolio of power generation projects. Very well managed and strategic projects. More attention will be put on companies such as this. Could be a very interesting investment proposition in the next 2 or 3 years.

The chart looks like it is going to go higher. A terrific looking chart.
HOLD
Premiere Canadian “green energy” producers. Over 300 Megawatts of operating assets. 1400 Megawatts in pipeline, 400 built in next couple years. Don’t exit.
BUY
A core Canadian holding in the Canadian environmental space. Have over 360 MW of installed capacity. Nice growth opportunity.
RISKY
Small earnings.
DON'T BUY
(Market Call Minute.) Would be cautious about any wind, water or solar company at this point.
DON'T BUY
Loves the whole context of what we are doing with green but the problem is that it is very hard to make money with businesses that are heavily subsidized by governments.
HOLD
(Market Call Minute.) Likes what they're doing. Gathering up a lot of renewable energy properties but they are carrying a lot of debt.
BUY
Developing a number of projects including about 12 hydro and 7 or 8 wind farms. They are now at the point where they can use their cash flow from existing properties to fund future growth. Have watched this for a while and is warming up to it. Not a bad entry point.
BUY
Chart shows a double bottom. Found a base and is now breaking into new territory. Good-looking stock. If they can get some contracts he can see $4.50 pretty quickly. 50 day moving average is going above the 200. Use a $3.05 Stop.
