iShares MSCI Mexico E.T.F. (EWW)

He likes Mexico for a number of years. Earnings growth down there is about 22%, impressive. Valuation is a little on the high side, (17 times), but that isn’t so high in Mexico. It has a ways to go.

Started looking at this and may buy more because some of the jobs that were sent to China have been moved to Mexico. Mexican’s economy has done extremely well. An interesting, more speculative play.

Mexico is one of the best performing markets globally. Under levered consumers. 40% of this ETF is consumer stocks and 20% is telecoms.

Mexico has been one of the better stories. Emerging markets have been weak but Mexico is propped up by oil and consumer sectors. It is one of the better emerging markets to have. Good quality ETF.

Looking globally, Europe is not a place for highly focused, Asia is not showing any sign of turning and North America has been the strongest part of the world. In Mexico, you are basically getting a call on the US economy for manufacturing. Strong and very young domestic market. Debt is under control. Have the strongest industrial production growth in the developed world.
