DON'T BUY

People are finally figuring out that these junior mining companies take a lot of money to develop. Costs to bring these projects on line are substantial. In this environment, it is a very difficult for these companies to raise the capital they need.

COMMENT

(Market Call Minute.) Trading around 2X cash flow. Have had ramp up issues since they’ve brought the mine into production. All the failures have largely been priced in. Still believes this is a working mine. $2.50 roughly would be the bottom of the stock.

BUY
There has been a huge selloff in base metal stocks. This company has had some difficulty in ramping up their producing properties in British Columbia. These are big, monstrous type of projects so he is not overly alarmed. Balance sheet has been improving. Attractive valuation.
BUY
(Market Call Minute) Excellent Asset in southern BC. Excellent cash flows and they are going to ramp up production.
HOLD
It's had quite a correction but is now back to support. Thinks it stays here. Point and figure chart shows the uptrend has not been violated.
BUY
Not a bad copper stock to own. You could also consider First Quantum (FM-T) or Freeport McMoran (FCX-N).
BUY
Brand-new producer. Located in southern BC. Partnered with Mitsubishi, which holds 25%. Low risk. A little expensive but there seems to be upside in expansion down the road. Could be a takeout.
BUY
A fantastic story. Have about 5 billion pounds of copper and gold. Cash costs in this environment should be about negative. Sees upside in this one.
BUY
Likes this one. As companies start production, they do get a rerating from a developer to a producer. Copper prices have gone sideways and down in the last little while. One of the stronger stocks where you want to be positioned.
BUY
Copper. Think they will start the B.C. production on time so likes what she sees. Once they start production, there should be a valuation lift. Could be a good takeout play.
PAST TOP PICK
(Top Pick Nov 24’10, Up 43.71%) Was a top pick last time. Still likes it. Positive on outlook for copper. Generally when they move from pre-production to production, you see am example in multiple. If you can ride out this movement you will do well in this name.
TOP PICK
Copper in Canada. Expected to start production in mid-2011. Very cheap compared to cash flow potential.
