This is one that he has struggled with because it is one of the best exposed companies for the solar industry but is a little bit expensive on an earnings basis. If you believe that the industry will grow at 30% or 50% per year for the next 10 or 20 years, which he does, this company will definitely prosper. Wouldn't make it an overweight holding.

New European plant delayed but expected to come on stream in June. First Solar has a new plant coming on in 6 months, which should help dramatically. Biggest risk is their single customer reliance. Speculative.

Have a new application going into “phase change memory” to replace “flash memory” so they have a whole new market next year that could be just as big as solar.

Solar panel play. Got in on the IPO. Putting a plant in Germany along with the one they have in Quebec. Has done exceedingly well in just a few trading days and he has been taking some profits. Multiple is around 25X. Would wait for something down around six dollars.
