It's grossly undervalued. They have a lot of exposure to Apple. With hot inflation, he fears that consumers will spend more on groceries and gas, and less on $1,000 phones. But Skyworks is selling at private equity multiples, which makes it attractive.

The chipmaker with huge exposure to the internet of things, smartphones and cars. Since peaking in April, shares have tumbled to $160. Reasons are supply chain woes and and fears that 5G wireless may be delayed. They delivered solid results two weeks ago, but their forecast was merely in line which wasn't enough to assure investors who are worried about production challenges with their top customer, Apple. Share sank from $171 to 164 and has been stuck there since. No, there's good news about the semis shortage.

They report Thursday. They're a key supplier to Apple. They can offer insight to when the semis shortage will end.

Some feel it's too cellphone-centric, but it's made some fine acquisitions. Will benefit from 5G.

He doesn't understand it nor why people are selling it, despite their Apple deal. Sellers will regret selling it.

He likes it. It's run by a fine CEO. The stock has gone down hard, but so has the whole cohort, but the cohort is starting to reverse itself. SWKS will likely recover a little later. SWKS made a good acquisition recently.

Yesterday, this chipmaker and great 5G play closed their Silicon Labs deal. The current chip shortage is especially dire in the car industry. So this deal will expand their footprint in cars, data centres and consumer markets. For years, the knock on SWKS was that it was levered to cell phones, but this deal demolishes that image.

Delivered their best all-time numbers last Thursday: 69% sales growth and a far better than expected EPS. They also unveiled a $2 billion buyback program. Since then, the stock has surged 12%. Plus, the current chip shortage won't hurt.
BUY ON WEAKNESS

An essential 5G play They make cell phone components and are a a huge supplier to Apple. Share have more than doubled since last March, but is pulling back a bit. A buying opportunity now.
