Real Resources (RER.TO)

BUY
Very good company. Well managed. A lot of internal growth. Very positive on it.
HOLD
Has a huge package of undeveloped land and have had good drilling success. Good management and good properties to drill. Probably reasonably fully priced.
HOLD
Will report their results in the next week or so and he knows he is going to have to revise his numbers and his cash flow upwards.
TOP PICK
Reasonably liquid. Likes the space. Feels they have predictable growth. They have resouce plays as opposed to having to drill. Likes their strategy. Can see 20/25% growth for 2/3 years.
BUY
Their last discovery, their new area play is starting to look really good. The market cap is increasing and more people are looking at it. They've done nothing but good things for the past few years. Doesn't believe they will income trust as they have too many opportunities to grow the company.
DON'T BUY
Trades ahead of its net asset value. No longer a cheap stock.
TOP PICK
It keeps on beating his numbers. Was expecting 8,400 BOE's a day in Q1, they increased production by 23% to 8,483. Looked for cash flow of $0.48 and they did $0.66. Because it is growing they will be able to afford to drill high impact wells.
WEAK BUY
Have been investing in this for a long time and look at it as a very likely candidate to become a trust. Easy money has been made, but if it changes there could be a 5/10% lift.
TOP PICK
In his 3 Top Picks, he is recommending that buyers take advantage during the weakness in the next 2/3 months. Buy under $11.50/12 range. A stock you want to own over the next few years. Had a fabulous winter exploration program with 6 rigs running. Have 2000 BOE's behind pipe that they are going to try to hook up before break-up.
TOP PICK
Very low risk with very good upside. Well established and very well managed. In 2004 averaged 7,400 BOE's a day, up from about 5,491 in 2003. Had expected them to exit 2004 at 8,500 which turned out to be 8,800. Expects 2005 to be averaging 9,500 BOE's a day and exiting north of 10,000.
DON'T BUY
Has gotten to a size where it is difficult to grow. This would be th epoint where it would convert into a trust. Too pricey now.
BUY
Has done well. Good company. Still room to grow.
HOLD
Rumours that it may become an income trust. Likes small/mid caps as these are the ones that tend to merge or trust. Has great growth and thinks it has another couple of $'s even if they don't trust.
BUY
Junior oil/gases are starting to move again because of the trust activity going on. Solid company and well run. It'll be slow and steady unless they turn into a trust, in which case it could become a $12/13 stock.
BUY
Good management. Not an exciting company but has done a good steady job. Possible candidate for a royalty trust.
