DON'T BUY
Large debt. Sector needs to straighten itself out.
PAST TOP PICK
(Top pick May 9. Down 18.3%)
DON'T BUY
Got caught in a credit squeeze and almost went out of business but has rallied a little. Have done a lot to improve their balance sheet but doesn't see a lot of upside to it.
DON'T BUY
Has been watching this stock. Have a huge debt load to deal with, but have been actively reducing it. Has a lot of potential if they can get their house in order. Speculative.
DON'T BUY
You might get 5/10% upside. Had a recent setback, which makes him a little cautious. Not getting their house in order as fast as he would have hoped.
HOLD
A turnaround story. Heavy debt load.
DON'T BUY
Has done a great job in cleaning up its balance sheet. Fundamentals of the company are still not great. Very speculative. A great trading stock. A better choice for speculation would be El Paso.
BUY
Likes this group of utilities. They have been hit hard by the Enron scandal. Cleaning up their balance sheet. Profitability is returning and cash flow is growing.
DON'T BUY
Too expensive north of $5. Has zero cash flow. A turnaround story with more problems than solutions. If it falls to $3/3.50, that would be the time to buy.
