Blackrock Inc. (BLK)

The valuation is okay so you won‘t get hurt on it here. They are a very ambitious, focused group. They have outlined opportunities in international markets. It is a well run company. A good core holding. She, however, prefers private equity.

Loves this name. Cost of capital is low and enthusiasm has returned to the market. This is one you could own as a core holding.

$3.9 Trillion under management. They manage another $10 Trillion in a risk management business. They are always going out there and buying the competition.

Intend to grow substantially through their ETFs and through their retail division which is the minority piece of their business. Valuation is fair, not super cheap. 1% increase in share in terms of retail brings over $100 billion into AUM for them.

Largest asset management firm in the world. 3 Trillion. Acquired iShares suite. That has been doing well. Have traded pretty positively in the last little while and will do so as long as the markets do well.
