COMMENT
Recently made a deal with Goldcorp (G-T) which was alright.
WEAK BUY
Had great discoveries and there was a lot of takeover speculation, but got ahead of itself. Could be a little bit lower. Still a primary takeover target. Looking out to 2006, it should continue to be one of the better market performers.
HOLD
Likes the management and its projects. Good business model by having a diverse portfolio and by having other companies drilling on their properties.
TOP PICK
Have a big gold deposit in Northern Quebec. Have 3 drill rigs on it at the moment. Thinks it has the potential for larger than 300 million deposit. Also have other assets that have a lot of merit.
HOLD
Has done very well. A very good time for golds.
DON'T BUY
A bit of a cult stock. Overpriced relative to the list.
BUY
Have an extraordinary asset base. Not cheap any more, but could go north of here.
DON'T BUY
Probably the best discovery in Canada in quite some time. Good management. Stock is probably ahead of itself. Some other companies in that area are Everton Resources (EVR-X) and Beaufield Consolidated (BFD-X). (Penny Dreadful speculations right around the Virginia property.)
PAST TOP PICK
(A top pick March 2/05. Up 54%.)The Quebec Eleonore findings looks like a potentially major discovery. It's high grade at surface consistant. If everything goes wrong the stock may drop by 50%, but the upside could be a doubling of the share price. Not cheap.
TOP PICK
Not widely covered which is one reason he likes it. It's under acccumulation. A new high in a gold stock is very rare these days. Have a potential gold deposit which is starting to look bigger than what the market originally thought 5/6 months ago.
TOP PICK
Have made a discovery in Quebec which has the ear marks of a major discovery, 1.5 to 2 million ounces possibly. As it grows it is attracting the attention of more and more major mining companies.
BUY ON WEAKNESS
Have done a tremendous job. Well run company. Described as a world class deposit. Getting a little pricey. If your a long term investor, Hold, but if you don't own, don't chase it.
BUY
Has done well with the good mining market. A truly unique company in Canada in that it owns a massive amount of exploration land in Quebec. Great program, well financed and well promoted. They are getting hits. A pur exploration play. Doesn't feel the market cap is too excessive. Use stops.
TOP PICK
Discovery of new deposits. A takeover.
TOP PICK
The mineralization in Eleonore is very high grade and near the surface. Could be a large discovery.
