He is interested in this one. The Asian economies are responding very well he the recovery from COVID. This ETF is mainly Australia, Korea, Japan. It is a good choice. Most portfolios are under exposed to the Asian-Pacific market. It would compliment the XID-T, see Top Picks today.
This would obviously contain Japan, Korea, etc. and right now those countries are doing very well. This is something that he could include in his portfolio.
It's all Asian with 58% exposure to Japan, and overall totals 2,200 names. He prefers AIA-US iShares Asia 50, which excludes Japan. He prefers China, South Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore which are performing better.
If you're looking at a global ETF, remember that 60% of it's going to be US. An Asian ETF, 52% is going to be Japan. People want diversification. To get decent global exposure, you're going to need to pick up a couple of ETFs, as just one can't do it all. VA is primarily Japan, a good place to be, with exposure to other countries in Asia.
