Has a broad exposure to the REITs, commercial and industrial trusts. Pays out 7/8% before you take in the special distribution that they've been able to pay in the last little while. A nice conservative way to play the trust market.

DON'T BUY

A financial company that has put a lot of emphasis into income trusts that last couple of years. A bit of a question mark, particularly going into year-end, when there could be a lot of redemptions in that area.

Was hurt by the tax on trusts. Company related, so he cannot make a recommendation.

BUY

Big hit on Nov 1st. Underlying portfolio is performing very well. Stock price has not performed well. With more government clarity, perhaps selling pressure will dry up.

Suffered very badly with the government’s ruling on trusts. They have been slowly crawling back. Has been adept at picking up market trends over the years.

24% dividend yield. Great management. Will be changing to a diversified dividend paying structure. For people looking for more stable cash flow. Great price.
