Harris Steel Group Inc. (HSG.TO)

Good uptrend over the last 1 1/2 years. It could be topping out, so be careful. There have been 2 little tops which are at about the same level which raises the possibility of a potential double top.

To be safe in steel, you could go to the fabricators such as this or Russel (RUS-T). Prefers Algoma (AGA-T) for the leveraged side of steel as opposed to Gerdau Ameristeel (GNA-T) in the hot rolled steel.

Expect steel prices to stay robust. Very ownable.

A distributor of specialty steel and will probably be a beneficiary if and when the McKenzie Valley pipeline gets built.

Underfollowed in the past because it had fairly limited trading flow. A significant amount of the company was held by the Harris family. Also they were using free cash flow to buy back stock. Did a secondary offering which took the Harris family down to about 50%. Well diversified in business applications. Looks relatively cheap.
