Shares have been tanking, but they have a good app that includes trading options. They reported terrible numbers, though. During last year's meme stock lunacy, RH never got past the app stage.

COMMENT

Companies like this will continue to experiment with AI and blockchain. They have to balance this with trust and safety. Time will tell how it shakes out.

BUY

They announced they will let AI agents trade. It's a good thing. This is where the business is going, using AI tools. COMMENT

This sector is diversifying its product model and offering so that each company isn't known for only one thing, like HOOD and meme trading. No, he would never let an AI agent run his own fund.

TRADE

It was parabolic a year ago and has since settled in. Her calls expire next month at $80, which is resistance. But being down 50% from highs is not a catalyst to go higher.

BUY

He just bought a little on this dip, then covered it on the earnings report on a tight call. The next day, the stock traded down. Then, he went long on it at $72. In the $70s, it's solid investment, not a trade. A solid company with a solid customer base.

WATCH

Is up 95% the past year, but peaked last summer, tied to the move by Bitcoin. EPS and revenues have been marked down, but the company is diversifying by adding strong intellectual capital. At $150, shares were ahead of themselves. They report April 28. Wants to see a lower PE.

TRADE
Is bitcoin doomed?

Not sure about bitcoin. But blockchain technology is going to be an important aspect of the continued tech evolution of transferring information and data across the industrial world. Bitcoin is a speculative asset and doesn't have a lot of industrial or financial uses.

Bought a bit, and sold on a bounce. Visionary CEO. Morphing into wider markets. Innovative. Hiccup recently. Be careful with these highly valued names. He'd be interested in the low $60s.

DON'T BUY

It trades at 30x PE. but way too much of its business is in cryptos. Wants to see more business in stocks and bonds.

DON'T BUY

It fell on Q4 reporting. Relies too much on crypto, where revenues are down 38%. Is not diversified enough. Also, was little improvement in debt-to-equity and growth is moderating. Unfortunately, HOOD is tied to crypto prices.

DON'T BUY

He's never understood bitcoin, or why regular people would want to transact in it. This last timeframe is a perfect example. Why has bitcoin suddenly fallen 40%? No one fully understands why, and he's not the guy to ask. He's boring and stays away from it.

Purely speculative. Not for conservative investors or anyone with a heart condition ;)  If you want to be in this space, do so only in a very small way.

DON'T BUY

It reports on Tuesday. Some feels that HOOD is linked closely to Bitcoin, which has taken a dive. Is not so dependable.

There has been no material news related to HOOD. That said, cryptocurrencies are under pressure, and the stock has fallen below its 200-day moving average. Management did share some encouraging commentary regarding the potential of Trump (kids) accounts. They view the recent pullback as a buying opportunity. Unlock Premium - Try 5i Free

RISKY

Was up 205% last year, though has pulled back from October highs, due to cooling in cryptos and speculative stocks. He likes HOOD long term. A generation is learning to trade on HOOD, a generation that will inherit more than $1 trillion from baby boomer parents. Short term, HOOD may trade in line with crypto and spec plays.
