DON'T BUY

On a down trend. Watch for it to break above the downward trend. Looks like it might make a new low in the next couple of months. Volume stats are not big enough to have created a turnaround.

SELL

He owned it and rode it down. Was a very, very bad drop. 50-60% in a single day and then it kept going. He got out right away. Don’t expect a dead cat bounce. Has gone beyond panic selling.

N/A

Timing. If you are going to take a position, is it a day trade or 3-6 months? Look at 3 year charts and apply moving averages.

SELL

The Eliot wave theory says there is 3 waves. The middle is usually the longest. They we had the third and final wave of this bull cycle. There is psychology behind it. Thinks the stock will settle down and have a down wave possibly $450-$500 and be there for a while.

PAST TOP PICK

(Top Pick Dec 2/11, Up 93.07%) They were bought out, but he did not own it.

PAST TOP PICK

(Top Pick Dec 2/11, Down 38.31%) It hit the exit level and he got out. Would not own it right now. IT has double bottomed. He may look at it again. Technicals broke down.

PAST TOP PICK

(Top Pick Dec 2/11, Up 20.40%) Dividends are very good. Traded in a tight range. Will continue to hold it. 7.5% yield.

DON'T BUY

The downward price gap is a trend reversal to down. You’d have to get to the $60 level to start filling the gap. That would be confirmation of a reversal. Momentum is declining. If it breaks below $50 then it will go to $46-$47.

DON'T BUY

Dangerous looking stock by fundamentals. On a chart basis it looks like a stock that will take a long time to turn around. Markets are waiting for some positive news. If it broke $12.50 then it would be a buy.

SELL

Not bad from an industry perspective, but it is really struggling to get above $100 and then a report brought it down about 10%. He is going to take his profits and sell very soon.

DON'T BUY

Huge gap down. 40% in one day. Looks like it will head down to $8 or $7. It looks negative. Such a clear downtrend. No confirmation of a bottom at all.

DON'T BUY

Friday 4pm press releases. A lot of Canadian companies do it at noon and it is a big price shock. Doesn’t think 4pm is a strategy. It’s heading down. If it can jump above $0.60 then it might break out.

WEAK BUY

Very stable. Looks like it is topping off. It is not a growth stock any more. He would buy and hold it for a little while. Limited to $75 on the upside and limited on the downside. He is not avoiding it but there are others he prefers. 2% yield.

COMMENT

$39 is resistance and $27 is support. He uses daily charts over 3 years. Probably on its way down to $32 right now.

SELL

The whole sector is not doing well. It looks like it is turning up but we don’t have the momentum and so it doesn’t bode well for the future.
