His ideal entry point would be about $30 but never seems to get cheaper. Long-term, it's a great story to own. Going global. Terrific story but too expensive. 5.5% yield.
Loves precious metals as he expects a depreciation of paper currencies and moving to a new basket of currencies including gold. There is also a concern about solvency of various nations and the amount of debt they are taking on.
Silver. Great story going forward. Acquiring a neighbouring property owned by Platte River Gold company. You could also look at the silver ETF (SLV-N), which could be as good a proxy for precious metals as anything else.
If looking for decent yield and long-term growth in telcos, this would be his prime choice. (30% of Canadians don't have cable or wireless and that is the segment that the competion GlobeAlive (?) or Wind (?) will go after.)
