2nd quarter results were above expectations. About 83% natural gas, so buy on gas weakness. They owned 16.4% of Storm Ventures International which they will eventually dividend out to shareholders. Relatively cheap valuation.
Has moved up a lot in the last few months. Wonderfully well run. Have a wonderful land spread in the Montney region in northeast British Columbia. Excellent assets and good management. Trading at multiples quite a bit higher than their peers.
Very well run company. Seasoned management team. In the Montney play in B.C. Has always been and will be an expensive stock from a multiple perspective, which you have to accept. Will be doing a plant expansion and will come online in November. Have at least another year of great growth before having to look at more infrastructure build out.
With Duvernay Oil (DDV-T) being taken over by Shell, Crew Energy (CR-T), Galleon Energy (GO.A-T) or Storm Exploration (SEO-T) would be good replacements with acreage in the Montney region.
Unconventional gas in northeast B.C. is the most exciting area, almost in North America. Probably the next take-out area. Great management team. Have a ton of acreage. 330 BCF on just 9 sections and they have 90. Massively undervalued.
One of the leading natural gas stocks over the last 12 months. Located in Montney and Horn River B.C. Great management. Probably acquired within the next couple of years.
Junior gas player. Excellent company. Well managed. Good exploration team. Have had some good discoveries and being able to grow their production. Think there will be opportunities so put it on your radar screen.
(A Top Pick June 29/09. Up 20.5%.) In the Montney region and one of the best shale gas plays in North America. Have Storm Ventures Int., which may go public and they have Horn River as well.
