Orbite Aluminae (ORT.TO)

DON'T BUY
Very, very speculative. Effectively extracting alumina from clay. If their technology ramps up and scales and is commercial, the stock could be a home run. He feels these types of situations are very dangerous. He still has a small short position.
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick April 20/11. Down 50%.) Still likes. Stock was halted when their PA did not meet the 43101 requirements and they have to refile. Issue has to do with the rare earth component so it doesn't really impact the story. Recently signed a deal with the worlds largest aluminum producer.
HOLD
Been through a stormy period. Picture got a bit stormy so he sold it from his funds but he holds it himself. Thinks it will start trading again. It is going to be stormy when it resumes.
DON'T BUY
Producing alumina out of clay. Has a small Short position in this company. He is still not convinced that the process is economic at this point. Some analysts have pointed out that it may not be as positive as originally thought.
BUY
Most disturbing technology to come along in the aluminum sector. In discussion with aluminum producers to license technology. They have sufficient supply and an advanced process upon which they are delivering. Upside is tremendous.
WAIT
He is waiting to see if certain things happen. If they sign contracts to supply. The process works but can you really apply it I the real world. You only wait so long, a month or two.
WEAK BUY
They are trying to create alumina from clay. Still in a “show me” stage. Going into production in the 3rd quarter next year. He still considers it a concept stock as there are no revenues or earnings presently. If you have a long-term perspective, and if it works, it will be a multiple bagger. Otherwise it could go down dramatically.
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick June 24/11. Down 37.53%.) Everything is going accordingly. Have hired key people and the project is developing well. Expecting to produce the high-grade alumina in 2012. Expecting contracts any time./
COMMENT
There is a little bit of support at the current price and you could buy now. It had better hold or you might see $1.70 followed by $1.40.
COMMENT
(Market Call Minute.) Alumina processes is tricky and this one is very clever. Seems to be proven but has to win contracts.
BUY
Has technology that creates pure aluminum directly from alumina clay. Have already delivered 70 tons to a smelter. This is one that a major must own and someone has to take it out.
WEAK BUY
Clever process for extracting alumina from clays in Québec. Have put out 70 tons of samples and now has to wait and see. Critical that in a couple of months aluminum companies will cooperate and use this instead of bauxite. Feels the process is working. Don't put too much into it. High risk but very interesting.
BUY
Follows it enthusiastically. You get aluminum out of clay. This is going to disappear for a great price.
DON'T BUY
Have a new process for processing alumina. When entering a bear market, these types of companies with a bit of a science aspect and unproven in terms of commercial technology, do very poorly. He is Shorting the stock.
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick June 24/11. Down 53.69%.) Producing aluminum from Clay. Progressing very well. In the process of converting their pilot plant into a commercial plant, which should generate about $100 million in cash flow. Trying to find out why the stock is dropping.
