SELL
Secured additional financing for its Bishu project. Nice breakout at $.40 and developed an upward trend. More than tripled since October. Now in a zone were it's going to have difficulty if it goes into a period where there's some resistance. Seasonal strength has just come to an end. If you own, take profits.
SELL
Management dropped the ball. Put the mine on maintenance because they can't make it work. Attractive project in Eritrea, potentially strong poly-metalic deposit but in a rough country to work.
DON'T BUY
Has been very disappointed in the CEO. Have a phenomenal project in Eritrea. Doesn't think the risk is as much the country as it is management.
WATCH
Had a low at the end of 05 and a higher low just recently. Shorter chart show that it broke down through support of about $2.90. Watch to see if volume increases as it may be a false correction. Don’t let it make a 52-week low.
BUY ON WEAKNESS
Management has let investors down in the Tabakoto project. The Bisha project in Eritrea is big, but feels a change in management is needed. If you want it, use a stink bid 10%-20% below where it is now.
BUY
Stock is driven mostly by their Bisha, Eritrea exploration project. Market capitalization of $400 million. One of the highest-grade zinc, copper ore bodies he has seen. Has some good exploration outside and is also a takeover target.
DON'T BUY
Takeover rumours. Speculation is that the Eritrea is too large for them to go into production. A very shaky country. Use a large discount when looking at this stock. Any time you can buy it at $2.50 or below, it would have some real speculative value.
HOLD
Q: Buy the Series A warrants which expire in June/08 and exercisable at $3? A: Doesn't particularly like this as he doesn't like countries like Eritrea. Probably a takeout. Cheap stock so wouldn't sell it.
DON'T BUY
Located in a very volatile country, Eritrea. Has a phenomenal deposit there. Going into production. Has run up based on rumours of a takeover. If it dropped down to the low $3’s it could be attractive.
DON'T BUY
Nevsun has had some problems. There are some risks. Doesn't own because of the risks.
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick July 11/05. Down 18%.) Not a popular stock since they went for new refinancing. Expects it will be under pressure from now to year end. Disappointed in management.
TOP PICK
Probably has one of the best discoveries he's seen in years. Looks like the worst is behind them in terms of the Eritrea government holding them up. Institurional financing they are getting includes guarantees of $2.50 up front.
BUY
The CEO is the most premier top guys running a mining company. Got caught in Eritrea stopped everything and demanded more. Investors are leery. Will probably be acquired. Anything between $2 and $2.50 is extremely attractive.
DON'T BUY
Has no thoughts on what's going to happen in Eritrea. The government called for a halt on exploration several months ago.
PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick August 8/04. Down 40%.) The government in Eritrea put a sudden stop to production. All of the value has now been taken out of the stock. An enormous opportunity in 2005 as he feels they will return to the project in one form or another.
